So there is a future then?

“There is an infinite amount of hope in the universe... but not for us.”

Well, we are grown ups. Back in the 80s and the 90s and even the early 00s one could recycle that 'idiot teenage energy' into our mid-late 30s. Today we are 45 years old when we are 22. and I don't think this has as much to do with the instagram bubble as one may think. It's not really possible to sign onto the dole, put out some music and scrape a living bby. You need massive promo/advertising behind you, which is actually more expensive and labour intensive than the music. the naysayers are half-correct when they say it's no longer about the music (as a blind person I find the obsessive attention paid to videos as a surrogate cultural product to the music quite disheartening in this regard.) where they make the mistake is trying to envision a return to a romanticised model of the music industry.

What mdma seemed to be able to was to take this self enclosed personal bliss and Inject the social field with it so you look around and there is someone else sharing the experience loved up

Mdma Communal experiences where you’re able to communicate yourself outwards.

All these Xanax people can’t communicate full stop. Slurring and drooling.

That's good. interesting you mention that because the negative energy of mdma when the magic has faded/you've blown out ur serotonogic receptors is don't touch me tension. xanax people are anti-social socialites.

That infantile asocialism. Having a tantrum in public with no Shame. Banging on endlessly about Pepa pig without questioning whether mum gives a shit.

Anxiety and panic are means of control. Xanax dampens them. In that, you may have the answer to carols question; how can Xanaxbe weaponsied.

I've never tried xanax, but I've taken valium and it's brilliant, a bit like being drunk without the sloshy, gassy, bloated feeling you get from drinking loads. Everything just felt nice, how it should be all the time.

The question e poses is if everyone felt great as a baseline state would we all stop being horrible to one another. Is the source of our problems an absence of bliss? Cut off from the big blissful God engine

it is defeat for which you must be prepared for. xanax dampens the necessary anxiety and fear to turn you into a revolutionary on the gut (as opposed to intellectual) level. one cannot passively shoot a gun. it's quite new labourite in that regard.

Killing anxiety also means the succumbing to trauma.

maybe the problem is that our anxiety is precisely trying to break free from control, yet we try to treat it via therapy or as barty says, by losing all inhibitions. maybe it's a question of using that anxiety against its originators. Every dialectician knows the son must kill the father.

It may be that we need one which isn't there so manufacture our own and as it's manufactured none of the traditional ways out work. There's no end. Trapped in a labyrinth of our own creation. A closed loop.

a question asked earlier is what are the trauma’s we’re dealing with?

the trauma of not being ruled by personalities but of impersonal social relational economic forces. if the whitehouse fell tomorrow we would still live the same way we are, because the real eclipse of the free market fetish is democracy, I.E: providing the false illusion to us that we have a say in how we are ruled by ticking a few boxes on a ballot paper. everyone is equal in the eyes of the God of capital, but not in the eyes of caesar. And Caesar is closer to the truth here than Beyonce.

I hope Carol likes what we've done to her thread more than music liked what we did to his brackles one last night
