that's probably a property of empathy. you have to look through the information assymetry, subconsciously putting yourself in the reader's place and knowing how they'd want the information sequenced in order to understand.
it's like, some people are just awful at telling stories. you can be listening in, knowing the story already and be like, "no! why are you telling it like that? first they need to know this, and don't spend so much time on these details, and pick up the cadence, you're killing the suspense"
