What do you mean Tea?
I mean that Leary obviously didn't consider himself "marginal" or a loser or anything else. He was a colossal egotist, and thought that doing acid was the prerogative of those who were outside mainstream society in the sense of being far above it - or at least, had the potential to ascend in this way.

But whether you agree with Leary or not, my point was that it's quite far removed from psytrance festival crusties or bored teenagers on a Welsh hillside, or whatever it was @Simon silverdollarcircle meant by "dropouts and marginalized types."
