rip this joint please
i had a really good Chicken Cottage the other night and it was only halfway through the night. spot on.

tangentially for the northeast (viz Dan's parmo quest, which looks lush), at the end of a night in Newcastle recently i had a genuinely good pizza.

(chorizo.)

you don't get that every day.

also on the east coast of England still, and i've mentioned this in other threads before, the paprika ("chip spice") you get seemingly only in Hull in place of salt and vinegar on chips is wonderful stuff.

chips and cheese is class, do people like the cheese sprinkled on and then you shake it up yourself and therefore there's a pleasing melting consistency of cheese on top of your chips, but no more, or do you want someone to have melted it pretty thoroughly beforehand? (the former for me all the way.)

spread it on toast, fairly thinly as you are a beginnner. it has a gritty consistency diffeernt from english marmite which is sharper and stronger and has a thinner more runny consistency. both are very nice. nothing to be scared of.

A 'vegemite' sounds like some sort of Biblical pervert who gets off on sticking carrots up people's arses.

yeast is something that should be treated, not eaten. i am prepared to make an exception for lager though obviously.

i found this thread quite inspirational so i went down the shop and got some oven chips, some cheese some sliced jalapenos some guacamole and some salsa and had a beer while i waited for the chips to cook. i wasn't drunk by the time i got the food ready but i was still a bit hungover from last night.
it was decliious i reccommend this to anybody/

yeah it really works.
like nachos but better. not unhealthy either. oven chips are usually at least 80% potato and not fried obviously. avocado is good for you

so are tomatos and chillis and cheese and sour cream are protein and calcium rich animal fats.
im vegetarian so i dont eat burgers but i do like getting a bun, sliced pickled beetroot, tinned sliced pineapple, thinly sliced cheese, lettuce, a rich tomato sauce, maybe some mayonnaise and a fried egg. this is what they give you in new zealand instead of a veggie burger. its much nicer than some shitty processed patty with peas and diced carrot inside.
