I'm kinda surprised at how popular hyph mngo has been across a wide spectrum, with it being no.1 for fact and resident advisor - as well as with people like Caspa now. I like the song by all means but find my mind goes at wonders a bit after the bass comes in because it doesn't really have many break ups and is slightly too rigidly loop based for me. It's definitely a very good but I've been really surprised by the extent of it's appeal

it's like plain bread, just normative enough that it's crossover appeal isn't ruined by any weird elements like wobblebass/halfstep-beats/odd breakdowns.

Can anyone recall some of the earliest FWD line ups from when it was at Velvet Rooms or anything prior 2004?

Are there any articles about the growth of the club or could anyone feed me with their knowledge of FWD?

aren't those the defining features of dubstep in most people eyes nowadays? ie not weird at all?

i started going when i moved to plastic people, whenever that was 2002-3 or something and remember miss dynamite on the mic with jayda flex, what happened to that guy?

it was very male and very much producers and enthusiasts at that time, it was never very busy really.

j da flex has a new track out with jammer on it (no verses, just one liners) thats not bad... though not quite as amazing as some people on dsf seem to think.

Hi all, best for 2010. Wondered if any of you know any sets of Stagga, Loops Haunt and Jamie Vex'd. Found some via LuckyMe and Resonance FM, but you might know more.

Greetings from Amsterdam.

how come i keep seeing all these dubstep djs looking exactly the same? real skinny, real pale, ratty brown hair, bum fluff mostaches, timid looking types? who is producing these people? where do they come from?
90% of boys in north london look like this too now i come to think of it.

it's such a nerdy movement, 'dubsteps' become so sexless.
