Just one of those weird inappropriate responses you find yourself having. I remember this kids dad died when we were at school. They'd told us to be extra sensitive and understanding... So we were watching something at the school, telly thing, I can't remember the context but someone got a javelin through them lol, speared through with a javelin on the sports field, and I said, that's how Tims dad died
I dunno why I just blurted it out, totally,inappropriate. I've done a few things like that over the years.

i vaguely knew a boy who got shot. laughed when i found out.

dad laughed when his parents died. both times. to be fair, he'd just inherited a big fuck off house in putney, i'd be laughing too.
