I started exercising again three or four days ago. It's shocking how much strength you lose from not doing it for a while. I can't do my old routine anymore and am having to work back up to it.

What I used to do was alternate between,

- warm up
- 1 minute plank (push up position)
- 1 minute side plank
- 3 x 12 bicep curls
- 3 x 12 side lateral raises
- 6 x 10 push ups
- 6 x 10 diamond push ups
- 6 x 10 dips
- 1 minute plank (forearms)
- 1 minute side plank
- warm down

And,

- warm up
- 1 minute plank (push up position)
- 1 minute side plank
- 6 x 60 crunches
- 2 x 12 flat bench lying raises
- 2 x 24 side leg raises (each side)
- 6 x 5 squats
- 1 minute plank (forearms)
- 1 minute side planl
- warm down

I try to do everything as slowly as possible and just do as many as I can whilst I can't do the full routine. I also do ankle exercises and general stretches throughout the day.

120 press ups? 60 dips? Are you taking the piss? You must look like the Incredible Hulk

I was never particularly big tbh. I didn't and don't do big weights or eat a lot and I'm like a twig atm due to not having consistently exercised for maybe a year and not having done any at all for a few months.

Ah ok, I'm not sure we have the equipment to do that at home... how come that video is narrated by Viago from What We Do In The Shadows?

Like version says you can do dips on chairs or you can do a variation of them on any kind of ledge

So stop the excuses and give me ten

I reckon you should be pleased with about 5 or 6 dips. Version is one of those elite ultra athletes so he does 60 but that's not feasible for a normal human being

I can't do anywhere near 60 atm. Also it's 60 in sets of ten with a minute between each set, not 60 right through.

I don't want the responsibility. I don't know enough about exercising to train anyone.
