i listened to your youtube recs of the dead washyourhands and they were all uniformly boring for me.

I think bluesy rock and indie-y rock are just so easy to do to a competent degree without any serious swerves to the left. it's like tech house in that regard, the late 90s south london stuff. really accomplished music that plays it safe.

soz, at least I tried. I'm sure you won't be a fan of my speedcore.

Don’t think there’s any correlation between a musician like Garcia & late 90’s tech house from south of the Thames, but that’s just me ;)

Our imagination is doing a lot of work in our dreams at the moment. You've felt that haven't you? It's going to spill out, explode! All this energy can't be contained for long. I can feel the pressure rising, I can feel it right now.

I've barely been dreaming. I feel more relaxed than ever. Most people in London are feeling like they've been at a health spa weekend. It's very much the opposite of energy rising. It's a great breathing out, a contented, blissful sigh.

The rat race has been suspended. Stress levels have fallen drastically. The air is cleaner than we've ever known it. The volume on the white noise has been turned down. Leaving aside the poor souls who are directly involved, whether through illness or work, the city is loving this.

Nobody wants to 'go back to normal' they've realised, those who didn't already know, that normal was killing them.

Everyone is smiling. Strangers all smile and say hello when you pass them in the street. It's miraculous.

I thought it would be a living nightmare but it's the opposite. It's a beautiful dream.

What happens next is the government admits work was never necessary. It was just a way to keep us busy so we didn't cause trouble. Then they give us everything we want for free.

Well yes the necessity of economic policy that was deemed far left nonsense two months ago is a big thing

But what about all the other stuff I said engage with that, you asked me to save a thread and i obliged despite being on the verge of a nervous breakdown and now all you want to do is boast about the fact you feel like you're on holiday you selfish prick

Gimme a second. I'll try and find my serious thoughtful face, I took it off and put it down somewhere earlier this afternoon

I just remembered my mum has literally been assailed by the return of the repressed. Not getting any sleep. Bombarded by memories of childhood trauma and they way she was treated by her parents. She's in her 70s and retired so you'd think this would have already happened but it does seem that the lockdown a has cleared the space for this to happen.

I'm what in Scientology is known as 'clear' having processed everything and filed it neatly away. But I can see how this thing might work.
