This is a decent find. Apparently Sähkö unearthed a few DATs from the 90s with them on,

This is one of the few recent things I've listened to more than once. The tunes dating back to the late '90s undercuts that somewhat, mind you.

I have this CD, is it stuff from here?

Edit: ah, no, that cd is other artists doing versions of or remixing Muslimgauze.

The Zoviet remix sounds a bit like whirly tubes.

ZF do use stuff like that (with added treatment) so you may be right. I've been meaning to listen to these so thanks for posting.

Struggling to think of having these and just forgetting about them... The ZF is cool not sure I can be arsed listening to Muslimgauze tho.

Will they not get in shit for using the Panasonic name? Maybe that is water under the bridge.

The Muslimgauze remixes don't really sound like Muslimgauze tbh, or at least they don't sound like his Middle-Eastern stuff. They sound more like something you'd hear on Raster-Noton.

Yeah I gave them a quick skip through and it was alright, but preferred the Zoviet France. It's nice. I was listening to bits of the Panasonic Green album earlier on my morning walk. Never heard this stuff at the time...

The first I heard of them was Kesto and that was years after it came out. There's so much material too, Vainio in particular has tons.
