dean blunt is sort of post rave / post hip hop music. i dont really mean post in the post modern or theory way, although there is an argument for that as well, i mean more, after the rave, when you're at home, ears tingling. in that way hes similar to burial. i actually love the time after the rave, all the wandering around like you've just been born

right, yeah, of course. i have cousins on the coasts and i don't think they've been to raves either, although they're are also not really into it.

i mean, you could stretch out 'rave' a bit, it could be a club night, like 10-6 or something, but it's that thing of being out til totally exhausted, then going home, or mates house or whatever, and that whole 2 or 3 hours after the main thing. you're exhausted, you've got that horrible smell about you, breath stinks, you're hungry, suns coming up, you might have a conversation with someone you don't know, you've spent too much etc etc
