The Hertfordshire / hardcore continuum thing always tickles me, being from that county. The area they drive through looks very similar to the kind of place I grew up.

Who else is there Herts wise? Adam F I think... Omni Trio... Moving Shadow is in Stevenage.

Goldie moved there. I believe he sent his daughter to the girl's school in my home town.

I don't fight, I run away
It’s brilliant and awful alternately. The tunes are brilliant. White guys from St Albans getting into jungle is amazing. But lots of people here see that all as the death knell.

First time I ever heard anyone say that the death knell of jungle came in 1994.

have you met @craner before?:sneaky:

That wasn't me!

To set to record straight, it was Luke who said this to me, and Matt Ingram who nodded sagely along. I looked shocked and offended at the idea, but considered it and came to appreciate its thrust. I believe Mr. Ingram has since revised his opinion.

If Luka said I could like Source Direct I'd like them again and it would be amazing

It is disconcerting having a puritan with a bent for polemic around casting fire and brimstone on all your former pleasures. You can either submit, or turn the rhetoric around and fight back.

I never had a taste for Source Direct though. I heard that Demons album at the time and apart from some of the slasher movie strings it left me cold.
