It's like the name of a bent copper in a Martin Amis novel.

he doesn't always play by the rules, sometimes has to bend them to get justice served. no life outside of his work, has a bare apartment, rarely see him eating.

something in his past drove him to be a loner. but he's who they call in when all hope seems lost, the tough cases.

played by one of those actors who's ruggedly handsome but never shows much emotion.

but if the fight were to defend the honor of a damsel in distress, it would be in the service of good. how would you do then?
One time I was coming home from a friend's house late night/early morning and I waiting at the bus stop and this guy started hassling this girl. Normally I probably wouldn't get involved but, you know, there were three of us standing there, it was kinda hard not to (also I was very high). So she kept asking him to leave her alone and eventually I stepped in and said I think she wants you to leave her alone, he immediately got angry and - with absolutely no sense of irony - pointed out that no-one had asked me to get involved. Anyway he made loads of threats and stuff but the bus turned up and so this girl and I got on the top deck and he got on the bottom with a promise to kill us when we got off... but he got off before us and it was all fine. But I thought of this with the damsel in distress thing above cos when she left this girl literally said "thank you for your gallantry" which I think is an expression, even a word I've never actually heard in real life before.

I think in UK rap there are a few quite middle class guys who are well known e.g. Jehst and some are reputedly from wealthy backgrounds e.g. Milkavelli, Rhys from Goldie Lookin Chain

Is Fliptrix from a well-off background? With a name like Xander I guess so...

I don't think a huge % of HF acts are from middle-class backgrounds
