Here's the Vladislav Delay thing, if anyone's curious.

the online samples on that haven't grabbed me, seemed missing the best aspects of each. maybe if it was less noisy and experimental (ie, more S&R, less VD).

Yeah, it's weird. Some of it just sounds like noise (in a bad way), but some of it's cool. It sounds very Boomkat though. I doubt I'll ever listen again.

I'll give it another try.

I know what you mean about Boomkat, although they carry lots of good stuff too. I'm missing the Low Company website and emails already. So much interesting stuff I got turned on to by them.

Yeah, it feels very on-brand for Boomkat. Dub, noise etc. You can imagine them referring to it as "seriously heavy gear" or something.

This is one of my favourite dub albums (though I guess technically it's more of an instrumental album with mild dub FX...but whatever). All vocal introductions by the indefatigable JAH THOMAS, a man whose voice should be bottled to cure hangover paranoia.

There was an excruciating interview with them on The BBC R4 Today Programme when they worked with Sinead O’Connor.
