amazingly no nominated presidential candidate from either party has ever died during the campaign
they both have rules in place, and you'd think it has to be Pence with gods know who as VP
but I wonder if they'd use it as an excuse to try to push back the election
or if the election happens as planned, how much will it magnify already existing partisan views of its legitimacy

if he'd died six months ago, maybe it could have been different
the question of whether Trump is more symptom or cause remains unresolved (at least to me)
