she's craner's ideal woman if only she wasn't a frothing mad Islamophobe and also dead

She went a bit crazy at the end, but I have an edition of her early interviews with people like Kissinger and Khomeini and it's amazing. So I like her as well.

Conrad Black and his wife Barbara Amiel who supposedly led to his corruption and downfall due to her luxurious spending habits. She has just written and published a memoir called Friends and Enemies, which is supposed to be amazing.

I get that. I'm terrible with faces. But I just couldn't bear to leave that question dangling unanswered when I knew the answer...

There is some hilarious hyperventilating going on about Suzanne Moore being "bullied" off the Guardian today.

Poor woman. But who knows? Maybe, with a bit of luck, she'll be able to write a book about her experience? Fingers crossed.

That shot of Peggy from Mad Men with the juicy comment about missing "SOME of the people" and not being able to say much more for now... I hate the way social media's encouraged people to market themselves. You can picture Moore on her phone or laptop trying to think how best to word it, what 'cool' picture to use, imagining the shocked and intrigued responses. Everything's a branding exercise.
