Lot of overlap with Dissensus in that list.

  • Iain Sinclair - Suicide Bridge and Lud Heat, all other early poems and novels
  • Ezra Pound - The Cantos
  • Wyndham Lewis- The Enemy of the Stars and Human Age Trilogy
  • TS Eliot - The Waste Land
  • William S. Burroughs - all works
  • Charles Olsen - The Kingfishers

The bit about the double helix of his writing style, 'homilitic' or 'sermonic', called the distinctly american style, burrowing in on a subject while spiraling out into cosmic implication, is good.

I'm up to the bit about Boeing and Operation Paperclip. Wonder if he mentions the research lab they had working on psychokinesis.
This is cool. Apparently Boeing had a pure research lab in the 60s due to having so much cash lying around and this bloke built a bunch of machines and experiments to test precognition and psychokinesis. The paper makes a pretty convincing argument for Pynchon having been aware of them.

I don't like it when he tries to do accents. Reminds me of English football commentators trying to pronounce foreign players' names.

I think this podcast would be better if I didn't already know everything he's talking about. All the stuff about Boeing, Siegel, Farina, Dylan, Mimi Baez etc.

Craner's read it. Idle Rich has read it. We were talking about it a few months back.

I like this guy tbh. I think he's one like Grapejuice who it's good to have out there doing conspiracy stuff without lurching to the right.

Read this comment on William T. Vollmann earlier,

"He has to be one of the least attractive people I’ve ever seen in my life. I should deservingly get downvoted for this comment, but I don’t think I can even get myself to read him I find his appearance (from his pictures) so repellant. He makes me think of some forbidden, ancient, disgusting word which is better off forgotten."

😂
