I'm pretty sure everyone who works in journalism is aware of that at this point

from my admittedly outside perspective it seems, understandably, like a great source of consternation for many ppl

but it also it's just the reality that has long been true for most content creators finally reaching the last bastions of prestige journalism

I guess I know that, but I was quite surprised by how explicit and upfront Conde Nast are about it. Why not, though?

it's the savvy play. just acknowledge the reality and stop pretending that old media matters in any way.

I mean what's the alternative, continue to pretend that print magazines matter to anyone anywhere?

I'm sure that right but I didn't read it I don't care about any of them I was just talking about the language
the flounce is a great big performance innit, i suppose it's like a big blustering pre-emptive self-cancellation can be a really good career move if you time it nicely,
