At least Rudy is on the ball for Trump though....
Update from U.S. district court in Williamsport, Pa., one of the Trump campaign's last stands:
GIULIANI: “I’m not sure what 'opacity' means. It probably means you can see.”
JUDGE BRANN: “It means you can’t.”
Rudy can fail.

This kind of shit IS scary though.... even if it doesn't change anything in the end, it is clear that Trump is deliberately trying to overturn the election by any method he can.
Trump said Chris Krebs, the director of the Department of Homeland Security’s Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA), “has been terminated”.
Krebs had indicated he expected to be fired. Last week, his agency released a statement refuting claims of widespread voter fraud. “The November 3rd election was the most secure in American history,” the statement read. “There is no evidence that any voting system deleted or lost votes, changed votes, or was in any way compromised.”
Trump mentioned the note in his tweet firing Krebs. He also repeated baseless, false claims that dead people had voted and machines changed votes.

Insane that anyone takes him seriously. This is the guy who claimed the election he won was rigged when he learned he'd lost the popular vote.

He (Krebs I mean) should keep turning up to work and when people ask why he is there say it was a fraudulent firing.
Although, let's be honest, it's hardly a surprise that Trump keeps trying to force himself on America long after she said "NO!".

hopefully the biden administration is keeping track of any decent people who've been fired and will immediately fire all the trump lackeys and rehire them in January.

we've become so used to the trump inner circle being so totally corrupt and shameless, it's reassuring to find that others in positions of authority will in fact give in to reality and facts when ordinary citizens make their voices heard.

Today is the deadline to pay for a re-count in Wisconsin. For a full recount the Trump campaign would have to pony up almost eight million in advance... now it turns out that "in advance" is actually a phrase that strikes fear into his cold dead heart cos his usual tactic is to get things on credit and then just not pay, so this is a big decision for Trump to make. Seems that he's opted for something and nothing, a partial recount of a few counties that will still cost a pretty penny and which has virtually no chance of changing the result. So... just a delaying tactic of sorts I suppose (no doubt hoping that the kraken is about to be released) - although it won't delay things that long cos it's only a few counties.

Oh, looks like they folded after the massive outcry against their blatantly racist and antidemocratic nonsense. Phew.
And now they are trying to unfold
The Associated Press report that the two Michigan Republicans who initially blocked certification of election results for the county that includes Detroit, before approving them, now say they want to rescind their certification.

Sure but... I've just been thinking about all this. When you take a step back and look at it - you had an election, what, three weeks ago, and the challenger won the popular vote by millions, he won the electoral college with most of the crucial states not even close... and you the president going "I won, I'm staying" and just sitting there in the white house talking bollocks. It's fucking incredible. In the United States of America.... international credibility (already fatally damaged fatally I'm sure) can never recover from this.

There is a good takedown of all the Dominion vote counting machines stuff on the latest Qanon-anonymous podcast.

As I suspected it boils down to a few people doing a skim of some very technical stuff and then "raising questions" about it and doing an "analysis" which is then parrotted by the usual suspects as gospel. And a report on the recent MAGA Millions march too. Worth a listen.

Fascinates me that. Are these people so stridently promising to change 4 million votes worried that people will turn on then when they fail?

oh, have no doubt, it's a bad situation reputation wise. but disagree with the "I won, I'm staying" part. he knows it's over and he will leave on January 20. he's always been a blowhard, the last four years have shown he loves to talk a big game but usually doesn't deliver. there are dozens of policy matters he's tweeted about and the media and Dems fly into a tizzy, but then he never actually does them.

yup. and I'm sure he'll continue tweeting after biden takes over. a narcissist's only concern is to stay in the public eye, he could not care less about what collateral damage it brings.

It's extremely divisive -- I mean the only reason for this Dominion stuff must be to position herself as go to lawyer for a fired up base.
