Weed doesn't help me sleep, either, it makes my mind go into overdrive. Which is quite fun/useful when I'm watching movies, playing video games, reading, talking shit, etc. But terrible for lying in the dark trying not to think.

I've never bought into this but some dealers try and convince you there's a indica sativa difference. One conks you out the other sets your mind racing. They all just send me to sleep personally.

i sleep about 9 to 10 hours a day. if it's less than that i don't really function during the day.

CBD has a different neurological effect to THC. Skunk is high in THC, hash is high in CBD.

THC is the evil (/ a lot of fun) chemical that makes you paranoid and anxious.

did someone on here post something the other day about elite sportspeople sleeping 10 hours a day if possible? supposed to be really good for them for some reason

So who's a sufferer? Me obviously, thus the thread at 6.30. I've had it for pretty much all of this lockdown and it's gone completely hatstand in the last week or two, where I've literally been up all night. It's a product of not having the work routine in the way we're used to. Upsides - have read huge chunks of books (massive biography of Clement Attlee atm). but overall, it's pretty fucking boring.
if you suffer from insomnia, does this mean you're simply not tired or does it mean you are tired but can't fall asleep? cos in the latter case it's also kinda impossible to do any sorts of activities like reading a book right?

That's the problem I've found. It's not a case of, oh great, can't sleep, I'll do something interesting to use the time. All you can do is stare at the wall.
