Interesting, so 3D printing could thrive as a supplemental utility to other, more specific and developed tech. I can see that, whether it be lidar or something else (piezo/flexure tech, etc).

I just wonder what could be enabled by people, especially kids, who have effectively integrated 3D printing into their toolbelt, into their reach, and know when/how to use it.

Undetectably spoofing authoritarian surveillance would be an honourable hobby. Countermeasure sigils and camouflage. https://www.businessinsider.com/clo...acial-recognition-tech-2019-10?op=1&r=US&IR=T

Hadn't heard of most of those. The wearable face projector is especially cool.

Although if we can know about it, we can bet that the recognition software is being updated to account for it.

The thread asked how the use of 3D printers could affect production. I think that the most revealing thing here is the achievements of 3D printers in the space sphere. Don't you agree that precision and production reliability is important for space? There are already at least 3 space companies that produce rockets and/or rocket engines on 3D printers. The advantages of this production method are mainly considered to be lower costs and a decrease in the number of welds (which is quite important for space flight). So this technology is definitely very promising.

partly the lack of any real content plus a kind of advertorial feel to the language. plus having a name which is just random letters.

Anyway, welcome aboard John. Can you please confirm you are not a bot by doing this simple addition sum:

Seven plus sixteen equals what?

If you answer correctly you can have the first initiation which is a tops off dmt session with one of the gurus.
