My headphones just broke

the last time i had a massive weed binge (lasted about, i dunno a month maybe) by the time i got out of it i had no hot water and the oven/hob was broken so i couldnt cook and it was snowing. this is when i knew for sure you cant ignore reality or your tools and technology will take revenge
This is me atm. I got locked out of my eBay account, my internet keeps cutting out, the software which alters my screen temperature's gone weird, I've been having to piss about with different kernel updates and the Dissensus update's been a bit of a faff.

i lost my headphones and the output on my phone, which is the only thing i used them for anyway, is now broken. so i'd need to replace the damn phone. which looks like a dog chewed it at each corner. innards all exposed. if i touch the top left bit where the circuit boards are poking out it sends the screen linto a fit and it have to turn the display off and on again to reset it. moral of the story? get a phone case.

Are these any good for listening from a smartphone? I read somewhere, possibly on here, that it's a waste of time using headphones above a certain quality with phones but I don't really understand why.

Ooh they look nice, bit expensive though. But maybe I'll treat myself for my birthday. I take it they're fine for listening off a mobile? Never had wireless headphones before

I have them too: excellent sound quality and v comfortable.

The noise-cancelling is impressive but that kind of thing makes me dizzy - a common problem, apparently

I was concerned about spending so much myself but I'd had a few MPOW headphones in a row that sounded great but broke within six months due to shoddy materials. So I thought I'd splash out a bit. These ones were the top rated by Which? and What Hi-Fi.

As Mixed Biscuits says, they're super comfortable (I can wear them all day more or less), sound is great, noise cancelling is excellent and also they connect easily via bluetooth to my phone and laptop. That last one I didn't even realise could be so smooth cos the other ones I'd bought made it so clunky.

Buying these actually changed my perspective on spending a lot of money on something you're going to use a lot. I didn't think it was worth it but these headphones showed me that sometimes it really is...

Aw man this so tempting, I could get these with free next day delivery and have them in my greasy mitts by tomorrow.

Noise-cancelling works by playing the stylistic opposite of what you're listening to: when you've got Atomic Kitten on your walkman, the headphones will drown it out with Cradle of Filth.

Truly original music can't be cancelled and rises unimpeded to the top of the charts, as shown.

I am a bit worried about spending 250 euros then realising I dont like noise cancelling. Plus there seems to be loads of fiddly features - would I really use them and isn't it just more things that can potentially go wrong?

You can turn it off (I have it off).
