Watched Polanski's latest (last?) film the other day, called An Officer and a Spy in England but originally J'Accuse which gives you much more idea of what it's about, ie tt's a very straightforward telling of the Dreyfus Affair (based on a Robert Harris novelisation apparently). It doesn't really feel like a Polanski film, nothing clever about it, no claustrophobia, no tricks, no camera stunts - it's virtually static, just sits back and shows you... it lets the story breathe. Looks great all the same. And the story is good. Watch it for that and you'll enjoy it, don't expect another Tenant or Cul de Sac though. Feels like someone with nothing to prove. Confident enough to be anonymous.
