google street view

i got really into this when i was discovering Poplar earlier in the year. i was using it to get pictures of buildings i couldnt find with an image search and i realised you could make some lovely pictures with it. it reminded me of how people imagined cyberspace before cyberspace became mostly just text, a 3d space you move through. of course the movement in street view is impossibly clunky and you are limited to the roads bt one day hopefully you can have a virtual hoverboard to move through those spaces and we will have the interiors mapped too, including the sewers etc

those are all from Peterborough, a place I have never been to in my physical form.

what i became interested in in Poplar was the in-between spaces, the bits that don't snag the eye. the filler. what 99% of reality is composed of.
