Meanwhile Mr Goldsmith wrote on Twitter on Tuesday: “The literal translation of the word MORTGAGE, from the French, is GRIP OF DEATH.”

It's weird reading old reports on Twitter gossip,

The critically acclaimed rapper, who has 235,000 followers on Twitter, had last year used the website to praise Mr Goldsmith for the film he produced about the West Indies cricket team.

honestly i feel like in a post Qanon/Epstein kinda world so much of this stuff has aged horribly and not just in terms of beats, what might've seemed subversive in 2002 doesn't have the same kind of power when Alex Jones is taken as a legit news source and you have to deal with hearing your aunts and uncles talking bout shit they got in a whatsapp video.

Seriously from the way Americans talk about dreading meeting their relatives around Thanksgiving the Trump supporting uncle has now taken on a kind of mythical status

also Luke that guy you posted seems like one of them man who believes everything is damn near a psy-op, i feel like after Epstein corked it there was definitly a reawakening of this kind of guy (almost always) a guy who wouldn't call themselves a conspiracy theorist but knows enough to maybe consider it, Trueanon podcast "this is the REAL history of the underbelly of America/ only way to truly be sane is to be a little bit crazy" types

Nowadays certain people love to bring up how Prodigy was one of the first guys to mention the Illuminati in rap, but i feel like a difference compared to him and other people in this lane is that in his case it felt like it was equal parts a weird quirk and also coming from a place of geniune curiosity as to why the system was the way it was and even then on his last album (which i don't think is particularly great) he starts off a track saying "Everything not Illuminati, everything not a evil plot, nah"

it comes from a different place compared to say Pete Rock harping on about vaccines and shit

since we're on this topic i'm surprised this album missed all you old fogeys in here
it's not good, came out 20 years too late & Ras Kass has some of truly terrible punchlines on this
