He’ll be gone in 6-9 months
Dunno. I follow a few centrist scum on Twitter and they're all delighted with how the Conference has gone. But a week is a long time in politics, 6 months is a fucking aeon so who knows.
If it wasnt depressing it would be pretty funny at this point
A 40 week on £15 an hour works out about £31k which is the average wage in the UK. You can't just jump the minimum wage up to the average wage in one go. It's not a serious reason for him standing down, it's all factional politics, It's about trying to embarrass Starmer and this is the cover story.

No, because the left don't have the required power to do that. With Corbyn every right wing MP with anything bad to say about him got immediately invited into the next news cycle and their opinions were amplified across every newspaper the next day and every day. Andy McDonald standing down is a temporary annoyance, if that, since Keith and his crew will be more pleased than annoyed. The last remaining left winger in the shadow cabinet has gone and they didn't even have to push him. They can even ignore his issues with Keith's leadership by dismissing it as factional warfare, just as you're doing.

fuck, what a useless tosser he is...

This is the same group that stopped and talked to him earlier this year, and then released a video showing him walking past and claimed he hadn't. Newsflash: the Left lies as much as the Right.
Rachel Reeves announced huge amounts of green spending - from memory £29bn a year? - should they get in. Neither of these actual facts will give you the same frisson as the above video though, so knock yourself out.

Whatever his reasons, its not 'cos he seriously wants to fight an election campaign on the promise of a £15 an hour minimum wage. That's just an outright lie.

There you go. Duly ignoring McDonald's issues.
You wanna write about what they actually are, honestly, I'm all ears. I would probably agree with you. But I don't believe £15 an hour is the reason - I know he's shat all over the Left, and lied about being a unifier and the reasons can be probably be more closely located there I feel the same about "gotcha" videos like the one above - they're just agitprop, they don't say or prove anything, just confirm a pre-existing narrative.

I mean this is strongly anti-Starmer: https://www.davidedgerton.org/blog/2021/9/29/renewing-labour
(I had it open in another tab) but at least it's factual and is based on reading what he (and the Shadow Chancellor) have actually written.
It answers the criticism in the video you posted with a massive commitment to green spending but that's not as exciting as an angry Starmer striding past the camera.

As it happens, he's now done that himself...

That video didn't follow a pre-existing narrative, unless the narrative was ignoring people like a complete Tory suit. What I really wanted was for someone to follow him around with a sousaphone as they did with Jeremy Hunt.

Ah, so that's what all his talk of robots was about.
