Europe is good now becasue they all speak english as a first language. the 'native' languages are basically curios kept alive by the state, like Welsh in Wales.

Tropical warm open-air architecture a touch of European colonial, unbelievable museums, the food of course incredible, affordable, big cafebrerias where you can work all day, some art & music happenings, weird bookshops and flea markets stretching miles

All the more reason to go. An entire continent of cuisine to experience—beans of every variety, cactus, avo, pappers, a thousand New World crops—maize, lime-soaked cheese-covered maize, green and red tomatoes.

It's true the street food and many restaurants heavy in lard, but plenty of places you can go without that

Last time I was in Berlin (2017) I dropped a big tab of 1-P in Tiergarten, saw Lou Reed in a urinal.

I'm actually not big on Mexican food TBH... But people say they love it. Very popular over here.
