Yeah, but "intrusive thoughts" usually refers to troubling thoughts, like the urge to jump off something tall or suddenly grab the steering wheel when someone's driving.That feels intrusive, anything that enters when you'd rather keep it out seems intrusive

When I was very young I kept running this tape of going down a slide barefoot into drawing pins
Another one was putting a knife between my top front teeth and twisting it.I had one about snipping the webbing between my fingers with the tip of a pair of nail scissors, also shaving my front teeth with a Mach3 razor.
i'm not sure about that - or at least those thoughts are the same ones that stop being repressed when someone goes berserki see these as safeguarding, the imagination doing its job keeping you out of danger
