Would be very interesting if intelligence emerges confirming this though.
Seems like it's inevitable, if (as claimed in the thread) the USA spends 10 billion a year purely on maintenance for its slightly smaller nuclear arsenal, and Russia is spending "only" four times that amount on its entire military, nukes included.

But regardless of how true it is, Western governments will be missing a trick if they don't exploit the hell out of this for propaganda purposes.

there's something disturbing about the way these war images are being presented nowadays i think. a meme-like "funny" sort of text and a video that shows actual war footage played along some sort of hip and trendy dance beat. as if it's made for tik-tok.

I think what we're all looking forward to is the first perfectly framed, artfully composed atmospheric thermonuclear explosion in 4k. I reckon our media savvy Ukrainian brothers are the right people to capture that.
