I've spent a few days marvelling at how stupid the guy was - on the run in France, out of cash, phones his mum to ask for money and she's "why you in France anyway?" and he replies "Susan killed her mum and dad and buried them in the garden"... beggars belief

Was abroad when the case blew up. Mansfield is pretty Grim Britannia even though it has a % of not so sketchy 70’s semi-detached gaffs, a veneer of civilisation. Soaked in heroin. Used to have a degree of civic pride, whatever that means today, yet there’s nothing there to retain the talent it produces and most of the jobs are in social care

probably bad form to reply to your own post, but...

this video has reignited the "podcast wars" where "personality" James English tries to vie for prison groupie Attwood's audience

last few days have seen "London gangland enforcer" iffy eye Marvin Herbert send death threats to Attwood's production crew ( allegedly! ) on behest of "the scottish guy" "punch her in the face" podcaster, demanding to take down the Gunn interview, "cos he murdered my mate's family"...
and this is where I can weigh in and say wonky eye herbert isn't all that, unless he has come a long way since he tried to mug me and I confused him when I pretended I didn't know what a "nicker" was... straight out of Strangeways and asking me where the smack dealer lived in my block, failed to tax me, yet he's supposed to be a "hitman" for the "cartel", mental health full of shit, and I'm weak as fuck but I just walked off... twice...( one eyed Marvin tried to mug me two times, failed to get a penny both times, what does that say? )

edit: allegedly this video is the first time the UK police ( Nottingham division ) have issued some sort of statement / riposte to a podcast ( according to acid reflux sufferer Attwood ), can't comment because I haven't seen the polis vid
