one thing i really like about Key Glock is he's got a really interesting ear for beats, that and he's got a deceptivly intricate style of rapping that shifts between different moods on a dime

The other day I was hanging around with this guy I know called Rabino - I only recently learned that that is not his real name, it's just his nickname cos his long hair and beard make him look like a rabbi. But I mangled it once asking someone to put it on a poster as Rabinho which would mean something like little butt - but that's neither here nor there, he played me this version of (Cab Calloway's I think) classic that is totally different and really cool.

I suppose you could call it psychedelic country which is a small genre that I reckon normally occurs by accident - often just one track on an album of otherwise fairly straight forward country. Anyway, when it works it's good and this is one of those where it does indeed work.

decent until the kick+snare 2step beat comes in. maybe you can make a paulstretch version with some shredded apaches.

Not to mention the kicks increasing in frequency for the build-up to the drop…

I’m sure those older and more mature than I have been past this for years, but I feel so insulted and embarassed when tracks do this. Its like having someone else cut the food on your plate at dinner.

Getting in the mood for the weekend (although whoever put this on youtube has speeded it up by about plus 10 I reckon)
