thats the thing about being unemployed isn't it. Every night is Friday night but no night is Friday night.

Me and you are much better at faking it and pretending to be human. Gus will never pass for a human in a million years.

drank 2-to-4 beers every one of the 10 days the wife was away, which is more than my usual. haven't had one since she returned on Monday, and have to say it feels good to take a break. not tired every afternoon from staying up late drinking and not getting 7-8 hours of good deep sleep.

My drinking tipped into a form of performance art for a few weeks and I got a bit worried. Loads of freaky symptoms and that so I've dialled it back slightly. It's exhausting as a full time job. Don't want to do yourself a mischief.

I also put on about four pounds during those 10 days, another side effect of drinking multiple beers per day. lousy sleep is the biggest problem from drinking for me, not hungover but just low energy the next day.

you can run with it for a while but things start feeling less real, running on fumes. Fun while it lasts though. The bad sleep, waking up in your clothes, eating badly, red bull and co-codamol

it's like you hacked my laptop camera, except I did change clothes each day.

I've been drinking every single day since the start of the pandemic, never really getting smashed, "for pleasure", but now I've got a fat gut and I only sleep about 5 or 6 hours a day, maybe a siesta in the afternoon if I'm lucky. Need to drastically cut down I know but summer is the worst time to do it. Maybe I need to move a place where there's less bars but literally street has at least 1 bar here, it's inescapable. Plus, I don't really want to stop cos it's quite nice.
