I made a music video for my jungle track

'What Time It Is' is single from my forthcoming jungle album 'Jungle Technology'. I'm aiming to release it on August, and it's full of same style. I have seen some effort for album entity, story and theme, so it will be worth listening from start to finish. Also, there's going to be small run of good old CD-Rs. They will be duplicated in factory, so there will be printing in disk and sleeve - I have seen effort for the album artwork.

STREAM AND DOWNLOAD from Spotify/Youtube/Bandcamp etc.:

A friend worked for awhile in St. Petersburg many years ago with a bunch of Finns, said they drink like fish. Never seen anyone drink as much.

Yes it's filmed in Helsinki, in the eastern suburbs, local place where I live. I actually shot it with Android phone.

That's the place I have lived most of my life. After living some years in small countryside town and in contrast in London's Brixton for short period, I have come to appreciate "blandness" of suburbs. Chill places, and in the end of the day, have quite much everything you need.

Video reminds me a bit of that chemical brothers one that did the rounds a few years ago, the one where its all out the window of a train

So the concept is jungle is a wire frame for the city. Beach and palm trees is technology and breaks. Far fucking out. I like the circles and stuff that pop up. Not so sure about the stabs and vibes words.

Nice sunset at the end, gonna screenshot anc post it up in that thread rich made.

I didn't have any deeper concept tbh. I wrote those texts just so they would look cool, and I write them according how the music sounds. "Beach and palm trees", that's because the track is tropical (atleast in my ears). Although that kinda becomes part of the footage's mundane world, in introspective level. Or something. And "wireframe", I ended up using because I was out of ideas and needed some word. I got the idea from Blender, where there's wireframe node to get that wireframe-look. So no deeper concept, just aesthetics.

i hope you dont treat swedish finns as second class citizens greminoo
I have few Swedish Finn friends.

Don't really want to turn this thread into "problems in Finland".

Although this is true.
