There is a guy who I'm friends with on fb, I don't know who he is really, I guess we met once and swapped details. Anyway, I think he's a graffiti artist or something, but he went to South America and he was travelling around on trains like that and doing graf at the same time, I think he was gonna produce a book about it though I dunno if it ever materialised.

Although Bernard is an Alpha-Plus (the upper class of the society), he is a misfit . . . Bernard's independence of mind stems more from his inferiority complex and depressive nature than from any depth of philosophical conviction. Unlike his fellow utopians, Bernard is often angry, resentful, and jealous. At times, he is also cowardly and hypocritical. His conditioning is clearly incomplete. He doesn't enjoy communal sports, solidarity services, or promiscuous sex.

Helmholtz Watson, a handsome and successful Alpha-Plus lecturer at the College of Emotional Engineering and a friend of Bernard. He feels unfulfilled writing endless propaganda doggerel, and the stifling conformism and philistinism of the World State make him restive.

It is disgusting because it is a late down-stream version of other aesthetics

It is like the scene in Devil Wears Prada about the cerulean sweater. You think you just pulled something off the rack. But really it was chosen for you. You're just at the end of a cultural spigot whose waters are muddy from use.

Look at the brick walls, the stupid pink neons, the twinkle lights. It's like a 2000s Williamsburg/LES bar.
i thought that devil wears Prada thing was really clever when my sister told me about it, but over the years turns out its total bollocks. the idea that clothing is top down feels totally wrong.

Like most boring, intellectually stunted normies, I've been away for an extended Labor Day holiday. Thanks...I guess.
youve been called happy, desperately needed and the liver of a life that hip young people can only hope to simulate in this thread.
