We don't have a general thread for architecture do we?

I'm thinking that the famous Capsule Tower in Japan was demolished this year and there is nowhere to mention it.

The idea sort of survives in Canada I guess as this mind-boggling block of flats was directly inspired by it I believe.

One architect I just learned about is Étienne-Louis Boullée, who taught architecture and made these monumental sketches:

I love the kind of stuff in the Ballardian thread, 'Tropical Brutalism'. It's the combination of organic and inorganic rather than just the architecture though, greens and greys.
