This is mostly new stuff so no Mac Dre on this one- The next one will have some Mac Dre.

Its 84 minutes of music in mp3 @ 320 kbps. I also threw one new southern song on the mix -"Tell Em What They Wanna Hear". I also threw my favorite R&B song of the year on it as well

If the link goes dead I will reup it.

From the Northern Cali Bay to U.
I hope u all enjoy it -if you like this sort of thing.

I don't know how it compares to other Hyphy-mixes (I've hardly heard any), but I think it's good. The sound quality is horrible though:eek:

Thanks. mmm. yea i was a little worried about that. However you are the first to say anything about the sound quality- thanks for your observation. On my stereo speakers the mix sounds fine. In the headphones there are a few problems and i know at some points there are buffering probs.

Could you please elaborate more on what you mean by the sound quality is horrible?

So I can take measures to correct it.

great mix. i love the song that samples ghostbusters!

Thanks :)

Thats:
Mistah F.A.B. - Ghost Ride It

He just got a label deal with Atlantic so you will probably be hearing more of him.

He also has a fun radio show here called Yellow Bus Radio on Wild 94.9.

Yeah, you're right: it does sound decent when played through speakers; there's something unpleasant about the sound, however, when playing it through head-phones, but to elaborate on that would be silly--it's a mixtape for crying out loud! That said, if you for some reason want to improve the sound quality you could try figuring out how the mixtape's "Me and U" differs from the cd-version (soundwise).

True. I was just trying to pinpoint the problem/problems.
What was happening at the cassie part of the mix was some buffering probs which I have resolved. There are just a few pops at that point in the mix.

In my mind it wasn't worth scrapping the mix for and I just decided to share with everybody instead of just one person.

Thanks for the feedback.

i think the thing with the sound quality on that first hyphy mix was just that when some of the effects were used the high end was a little raucous. plus some of the tracks sounded kinda low quality, kinda like they were radio rips or something? that could of been the buffering issues you were talking about.

Nope -no radio rips! -ALL VINYL except for one track at the beginning which is from a commercially released cd. The sound issues were a result of a lack of hard disk space.
I figured it out on subsequent mixes.
