I do have respect for these older musicians, but it's gone pretty downhill recently, right? I'm not very aware of the current scene, but I'm occasionally forced to hear it through loudspeakers in public etc.

Oh I didn't mean that in reference to Taylor Swift, sorry. I actually forgot she was originally a country musician herself. Country is just one of the prime examples to me of both white american culture and immaturity

I've always said that modern country sounds like children's music for adults. But I almost hesitate to bring it up because modern country is so culturally irrelevant

Hellraiser is funny because I feel like it really sticks out in some ways from other horror, but at the same time the actual movies are not that interesting. Like the designs of the cenobites and the original concept by Barker of them being obsessed with sensation are too good for the franchise...

I'm always looking for examples of this, because the feel of the midwest is actually driving me crazy. I want a full-out horror movie that takes place in that world, but it's kind of hard for me to articulate what makes it specific so I'm sure it would be hard to focus in on it artistically
