I do have a constant stream of dialogue but it’s deliberate, I suppose I could probably stop it if I wanted to. But I don’t have that background noise monologue that you're talking about

Yes, I constantly talk to myself in my head. Although the monologue is 50% words and 50% images and feelings and just my mind “getting it” on its own because it’s too much effort to find the right words for what I mean to say. It’s not really the same talking as talking out loud

you're right, our cities are extremely soulless. toronto is one of the worst in my opinion, the atlantic provinces and quebec have a bit more visible culture
