none of it is actually anything particular.
most of the #tags are done as jokes and #trolls.
someone in my hometown booked the #seapunk kids when they were at their peak of fake stardom and they were horrible. it was mostly really shittty sounding progression era bukem jungle but i dont think...
i've been digging without much luck...
but has anything come out this year that shows promise? any new idea at 140?
the author album was boring, starkey's lp was mostly bro-trap, swindle was ok (but i've never really been a fan of his stuff...)
Joker's EP was kinda cool i guess, but nothing...
was spongebob being played on dub before or after the smoking ban?
that was probably the biggest change (to an outsider at least.)
everything seemed to need to get aggier after the ban given the less smoked out everyone was and the more liquored up they were.
i put together a mix of new shit here:
12 tunes from: pearson sound, boddika, jam city, t.williams, magnum, roska, girl unit, etc. etc.
follow me and ill follow you back
i still like it though (mind you i'm only really talking about the lp single and stuff he's put out over the last 6 months, i haven't listened to album proper yet, so maybe it is bad)
i tend to like his sound pallete & production quite a bit so maybe that makes up for it, plus i...
yeah but he just did that to make money. dude didn't even swear on the nin cover.
her music was cheesy as fuck it was what middle aged house wives and 12 year old girls listened too.
and if she hadn't died this year, this way and had lived another 30 years in crazyville none of this "love"...
how is any of this surprising?
this is the direction he's been heading for a loooong time imo.
i like it. i wouldn't play a whole set of it, but it's better peak hour shit then most of the tech/trance that get's played these days.
at least he's trying something new to him and not sticking...
