i agree. post-25, you need to either be responding to a medical emergency, rioting, or morris dancing, otherwise you shouldn't really be allowed out

for me it's definitely a deliberate tactic to restore some of musics lost power. as well as to create a biut oif energy and shared party fun time among the people on the forum,

It’s one of my best dissensus ideas so far isn’t it? Also saw woebot did a talk recently with your mates at psychedelic society. Haven’t watched yet

Start a new thread for this one then. What time are we starting? 8? 9? How are you going force Corpsey to participate? How are you going to trick Craner into joining in? It's time to think logistics.

The fact that it's good for you might put people off but it can't be helped. We must perform this gesture of fealty to our benefactor

It's Sheils idea so he's going to be organising the party. Blowing up the balloons and mixing the punch

is there a recording? sounds really intriguing, the Drug Science Podcast is one of the few worth making time for and they’re particularly grounded but revelatory at the same time with psychedelics and their therapeutic potentialities.

had a quick nose but on work phone but have to avoid certain sites that might raise a red flag.

Up for all putting this

on and making insightful/sensuous/flirtatious/insulting/abusive/cheeky/perplexed remarks about it in real time?

9 o clock?

This was something Barty wanted to do but didn't get round to it. Communal play and team building exercise.
i actually threw this on about 2am the other night and thought it was brilliant. i was doing expert sudoku and it really got me through with no mistakes. couple of wonky mixes but generally just very good as a whole piece, conceptually very coherent and strong.. really good jungle selections and also liked the turkish/arabic vocal pieces, especially where they've been blended with some other beats. i'm a sucker for that kind of cutup thing. it's not an end in itself, but it's a beginning that can be saluted.. i did miss the last 20 mins or so. it was getting pretty crunching gabbery for a bit as well which started to do my head in, but i was ok for a few minutes of it.

good shit @thirdform keep it up boss

the wonky mixes are intentional. djing is a right wing abomination. frictionless ableton experience. everything perfectly synced up.

The aim is to force yer head to go back to the old ways of mixing, but with the increased potential of digital tech to allow you to apply granular effects and layer shit over each other, something you can't really do on vinyl in the same way. So it's a case of misusing the sync function on dj software to get stuff bar synced up rather than necessarily beatmatched as you would a house or garage mix.
