Some voice deep inside me wonders whether avoiding starting international conflicts and bombing more civilians—like literally every single one of Trump's predecessors in the modern presidential era—is such a big deal that it outweighs all his gross priggishness and tax policies and moral modeling. Biden meanwhile is a war mongerer.
This has already been comprehensively dismissed. https://chicago.suntimes.com/platfo...rump-drone-strikes-far-exceed-obama-s-numbers

an interesting point in that article: trump has undying support from his MAGA base, not necessarily from Republicans. if he loses, GOP legislators and those in his administration could very well say "ok, it's over", but trump could continue to rally his base to stir shit up, even continue doing rallies.

interesting point

70-30 Trump voters say they’re voting for Trump, not against Biden.
And roughly 70-30 Biden voters say they’re voting against Trump, not for Biden.

In a way, Donald Trump provides the enthusiasm and Joe Biden just keeps denying him something really significant to run against. Biden has this weird rope-a-dope of an election strategy that seems to be paying off.

i believe in that because the usa is not a democracy and the bully will just take what he wants

He's certainly going to try, and I wouldn't put anything past him at this stage. I guess we'll just have to wait and see.
