I mean the cord progression in this is exactly nicked from that tune

This is not good though, whereas that forgemasters tune is eternal.
I won't click a Trentemøller link. He was revered here in Denmark 10 years ago or whenever, but he as a bona fide fraud. The sound and his approach made me run away from anything resembling club culture for years. Happy he is back in the indie world where he belongs.

Agro - Only Those Who Attempt The Impossible Will Achieve The Absurd ( 1995 )

Acid overdose - the sound of squat party acid techno rave taken beyond its logical conclusion by the ACAB crew

A soundtrack to trying to get up the stairs of some abandoned warehouse, gently stepping over army surplus clad bodies slumped in pools of their own vomit from the cocktail of Special Brew, Special K, and who knows what else, only to enter a huge space with ten zombies swaying out of time to an out of phase sound system..

I can relate to this post. And a pretty nasty track, one of the better examples of hardacid.

If you were there then you know what I'm talking about! - trudging through an industrial estate, following the sound of the kick drum as it gets louder, stepping over the corpses of the lightweights who couldn't handle their class A drugs, only to enter the first circle of hell..good times...

Here's another great track by Spivey/Anderson (the Killout crew). They do have a special sound going on and does a pretty good groove as well underneath all the 909/303 onslaught.

If anyone saw the Belgian/French super-academic rave/acid/teknival doc RAGE which in rotation a few years ago I believe they feature with a live set.

it looks to me like a massive field - but that's probably just my perspective - no wider really than the New York Rave thread.

so we're talking the scene around:

ART/the black dog/B12/nuron/lukeSlater

but also aGuyCalledGerald/orbital/babyFord/theHolyGhost/LFO/aphex twin (not TOO much RDJ - lets put him back in that context)

jumpin and pumpin/theFutureSoundOfLondon would be great to air some of these very underrated twelves

ditto autechre - early twelves are OK but lets see them in historical context

slightly less well-known stuff like iueke/mark broom/RAC/eon/ubik

a bit like this mix but NOT really a bleep extravaganza (LET'S LEAVE BLEEP OUT IT)

@Clinamenic put this mix on by our Forum Father Matthew Ingram it will help you maximise your bitcoin profits algorthimically
