Luka is deeply depressed... He needs this forum's help.

I'm gonna give him some driving tour videos of my hometown.

This one's especially cheery:

The Madonna Inn had been on my bucket list for a while. I decided to go for my 40th since I couldn't travel abroad like I wanted to. I had seen the pictures and was told it was so beautiful and had such a great vibe, I was expecting to feel so delighted. We arrived late, maybe 830pm when we had checked in dropped off our bags and looked around our amazing room. It was just like the photos. I was so excited about being there (I took a photo of soap!) but I wanted to sit down and have a piece of cake on my birthday so we went to the restaurant (which we were told by the very disinterested staff at check-in) was still open! When we got to the restaurant we were just taking in the gorgeous sights, it really is a beautiful place. He (my other half and rock in this debacle of a trip) asked for a table and we were asked by a host if we were ordering a meal and we said no we wanted dessert and drinks so the host told us "we'd be better served in the cafe". I was very disappointed that I was being sent away from the restaurant but I thought that meant I could have some lovely cake so I went along. At the cafe, we were seated at the bar (not at a table which I asked for) and then we were told they were low on desserts. There was ice cream available. I was heartbroken. I couldn't sit in the cute restaurant with the lovely red seats and chandeliers for my 40th and eat cake like I thought. I thought maybe I was being too sensitive but I casually asked him how he was liking it and his reaction was what I was thinking. We left the next morning and I will never return to this unwelcoming place. (It really is beautiful and the room was clean and spectacular but there was definitely a bad vibe here)
