Fuck London

Can turn naughty
That shit and ridiculous unjustifiable fees for going overdrawn etc. Remember when the banks had to pay back loads of those fees? Think I got like 600 quid and there would have been more but they dragged it out knowing the laws would change soon after. Once the laws changed they went back to business. Always fucks lower income peeps the hardest too innit because they're barely scraping by.

The tube is disgusting at the moment. Partly as its summer, but its filthy (do TFL need cleaners?) and ventilation, never mind AC, is pretty scant. The seating design, i.e having fabric covers, is also proving a bad idea, as it just makes it even hotter. other european cities' underground systems might be smaller, but they always tend to seem better designed than the tube, and nicer to travel on.

I think that with the tube it's one of those classic things where being first isn't necessarily best, once one is built the others can copy it but they can also look at the mistakes and make sure that they don't make the same ones. I have a feeling that some of the problems with the LU on the old lines were basically built in from the very start.

But cleanliness, yeah, when we were in London the other day we went to Starbucks of Nero or something near Baker St and it was filthy, the floor was all grimy and the chairs and so on were out of position with half-eaten food and packaging on the tables. It looked so uninviting that we left and went to the other one next door ie Nero or Starbucks, and that was just as bad. So in the end we settled for a really disgusting coffee from there and a sandwich so we only spent about twenty-five quid.

I couldn't understand why they were both so dirty. It really made them both look really unpleasant.

everywhere you go in london now it seems like the pavement is littered with a history of vomit dating back at least a year. the other day i had to walk around a soiled pair of boxers that someone had left out.

Coffee and a sandwich? 325,000£ please but with inflation by the minute that’s now 330.000£. Please. Wheelbarrows for wages but ‘get in on etherealcoin bro, totally horse cock growth’

Everything burning and sinking and, for a true triple-death, the sacral monarch ritually garrotted for the millionth time in all these many many millennia, the monarch being the psychic health of the people it represents with a mass of entrails for a face covering the entire city

What thread is this?

but places like these, franchise multinationals like starbucks or mcdonalds, are always fucking disgusting and full of germs, they are up there with airports as the most dirty places on earth.

McDonald's smashes hygiene inspections here; being a restaurant manager is not a crap job

Still a tonne of empty shops in the City and other central bits.

I was in Folkestone a few weekends back and they have a clear divide between the hipster bit and the bargain shoes / vape shop bit.

You can’t really have bargain shoes and vape shops in central london though because people won’t travel into zone one for them.

That wouldn't surprise me but they normally disguise it from the customers, you don't walk in expecting to see mud and dirt all over the floor.

Mr. Tea

Let's Talk About Ceps
I'll explain this in terms you'll understand: It's simply because you're the Mark Corrigan to our Super Hans
This might be the most extreme self-flattery I've ever seen.

Or a grotesque insult to the intelligence of Super Hans, I'm not sure.
