wouldn't you agree there's a difference between mixing old and new into something that (at least attempts to be) aesthetically continuous and ghettoising old music into a nostalgia segment? You might be right about people not picking up on specifics of history when they hear older tunes in...

I find it hard to get past this aspect of it, most of the time. I remember a long Shack interview (with Blackdown maybe?) where he ties himself in knots - in his typically thoughtful way - trying to explain the title of that track.
