I was in the states this past month and spent time listening to spanish-language radio (I like nortenos ..). It seemed like the norteno genre has changed in the past year or two. There was lot of stuff with a faster tempo that all sounded synthesized, but still (artificial) tubas for bass...

of course not---not at all. and I have spent a lot of time listening to riko, love that. but not this record---he just. sounds. dumb. and it makes him sound lame. for me this mixtape was a big disappointment.

After listening a number of times I agree with mistersloane: Riko just sounds dumb. Sometimes he also sounds great, but on 95% of the tunes I just feel embarrassed for him. I would skip this one.
