    Rationality!

A combination of all of these - the title of that website seems to chime with my mentality, for sure! Regarding Bayes' theorum... I had to look it up, but it seems that it's just conditional probabilities, which may seem complicated at first glance, but once you get your head round the notation...

    The Trip

Apologies to the Dissensian pseuds (and we all know that a few members have been in the corner at one point), but this is about a TV show. Tonight's programme (episode 4) was the best one yet in my opinion. So subtle and touching, yet capable of causing uproarious fits of laughter. Rob Brydon's...

    Studio 54

If you're being pedantic (like I all too often am), you have to remember that Mancuso didn't actually mix at all! For Studio 54 specifics, this is a good place to start though: http://www.disco-disco.com/clubs/studio54.shtml Try searching for Richie Kaczor playlists as well.

Any juke/footwork fans in or near Bristol should head down to Timbuk2 on Friday October 15th, by the way. Spinn will be headlining alongside Chrissy Murderbot and Girl Unit, and I'll be playing an all-vinyl set of Dance Mania classics as well. Should be fun!

Bloody hell, mms. Leave the man alone! He's just expressing the opinion that he doesn't really like most of Nate's material - something which I personally concur with. You may like it, and all the power to you if you do, but don't go accusing Neema of being a "hater" for expressing his honest...

You're better off having them cut too loud rather than too quiet. I'd maybe try adjusting the gain on the channel instead of the fader? Means you can DJ as you would normally, and may solve your redlining issue. Volume sounds fine on these though. Where are you getting yours cut anyway?

Dubstudio in Bristol. Was my first time getting stuff cut - got two double-sided 10" plates on a deal, and whacked 2 short tracks on one of the sides for a fiver extra. Sort of a bargain, compared to how much it'd be for 5 different plates! Henry did a really great job with them as well. Was...

Neema - do you plan on putting any of the new digital-only Ghettophiles stuff onto wax? I've been getting the best digital stuff and putting it onto dubplate, so if you're planning on putting out some vinyl, I'd rather wait than shell out loads of money to get them cut.

I think he may just be doing their reggae releases. CGB did the Actress stuff on HJ.

Dubplates & Mastering's Rashad Becker always seems to get a great sound. http://www.discogs.com/artist/Rashad+Becker Interview between Robert Henke and Rashad here: http://www.monolake.de/interviews/mastering.html

    Circle/Yellow/Dubbage

No, it's not. It's just house, repackaged under an awful name! :D As stated previously, at least funky brought some new rhythmic templates and a fresh sound palette to the table.

The TWC EP sort of fits, no? Agreed on a lot of points here. There needs to be some good productions coming out, otherwise they're just a bunch of mates playing a range of bouncy tech-house. Just because it's shirt & shoes and they're getting 2000 people into their parties doesn't make it...

Yeah, it's top. Shits all over the Nate material from a great height.
