Havent checked that youtube link, is it the 12 minute version, should be like 118bpm, if it is correct, then am surprised. I thought it would come under rare grooves or something?

Pretty standard deep house. Maybe not new stuff though, but it sounds like mid 90's shit.

I'm not as up on this as maybe I once was. Check Kerri Chandler, Moodymann, Theo Parrish maybe.

I really love that track. I have some more stuff like this at home, will try to look out.

Not sure if I'd call it "bog standard".

there are about 3 of these

here is another one, it's an open secret that video crash wasn't lil louis though.....

also marshall jefferson claims he did the track originally
http://www.djhistory.com/forum/showthread.php?t=49015
which is probably why the controversy arises.
Buut there is another story that it's actually chris connelly from ministry, and lil louis was asked to front it.

I like the stuff in this thread. Lots of it seems to have quite a pervy funky disco bump thing going on which pleases me. I always thought of deep house as more stiff or something. With more of an off-beat emphasis..Whereas this stuff is more swingy and louche and boom-clacky. Love to hear more anyway.
