I can't be arsed reading political biographies but my guess is that some of them have genuine affection for each other yes. But some will be psychopaths too.

They are only worse because the electorate allows them, or urges them, to be worse.

Well it's a vicious circle for sure. How to get out of it though...

Yeah but they can only get away with it because everyone feels so weak and isolated.

I guess the other options would be to find better Tories somehow (lol) or magickally invoke a mainstream press that will genuinely hold them to account rather. But we/us/normal people have no leverage there.

Well I agree that things are getting worse for sure. But the fact that things have worked yet just means we need a bit of imagination energy and new tactics rather than resigning ourselves to defeat. "If you never fight you will always lose..."

So Pritti Patel claimed on expenses for getting her eyebrows done. No biggie, it only cost, hang on, seventy seven thousand pounds. They do look nice.

Though now they are saying that the eyebrow salon also supplies PPE which is what actually cost the money... which raises more questions.

Cameron and that Greensill guy seem to have been more closely entwined than they claimed according to a business card that Labour have produced showing that Greensill had a ukgov email address and... ah who the fuck cares, they can just do what they want and there are no rules, no consequences, nobody is watching the watchmen. In fact the watchmen aren't even watching the normal men.

It's just utterly pointless, they'll do what they want and say it how they want and nobody will challenge it on any meaningful level.

This coming straight after the report exonerating the police at Clapham Common, it feels like serious pushback by the right - as if they’ve had enough of being painted as the bad guys by the woke brigade in the media.
