Though of course, when you click on that twitter link...
Startlingly strong strides again from Portillo. Not everyone can pull this look off but he is great at matching shade, tone and brightness. ST approved, needs better shoes though.
It was the shoes that really blew it for me too to be fair.

I'm loving this... only Grayling could lose a rigged election, maybe he rigged it himself.
What does it mean though? Will we see an unredacted Russia Report.

Julian Lewis is not a Russia fan as I understand it.

But trying to make the stupidest man in Parliament chairman of the security committee was a plotline straight out of Rik Mayall's 'The New Statesmen'.

Or like Blackadder when they get Baldrick into the House of Lords but they still lose cos Pitt the Younger tricks him into voting for the other side.
If Grayling had won though he might have easily released the Russia thing by accident though..

So.... they are saying that they are going to release the Russia Report on Wednesday. Seems the Tory bastards have been out-bastarded by their own bastard.

I saw someone saying that Grayling swung it by voting for Lewis by mistake, that might have been satirical, but these days there's precious little difference

& so the tory c*nts are suddenly disclosing about Russian 2019 election interference today, in order to distract from the oligarch donor revelations that will be revealed in that report tomorrow

I dunno man, it could be some convoluted plan but I don't see Johnson and Cummer as that smart. As far as I can tell the story is that they tried to get their man to chair the committee so he could bury the report - but they picked the only man who could manage to lose a one-horse race rigged vote involving a nine man electorate, one of whom was him, and the upshot is that a Tory with at least some sort of principles (and who was immediately kicked out of the party) has assumed the chair.
Now the committee is led by the newly non-Tory it has said it will release the report that Johnson has been sitting on for ages - I think it's exactly what the Tories don't want, although they are desperately trying to get ahead of it by spinning that Russian interference was real but it was somehow against them all the time...
Edit: sorry I misread, we're saying the same thing - apologies.

FT article on coronavirus omnishambles siding with... Cummings?

Vallance talking about how Boris held back on shutdown for a week

They're about to sell him Boris down the river off the back of the report then i'd guess
