Not so keen on Cat & Dogs, more of a Twin Infinitives kinda guy but loved the Singles Live & Unreleased box. Saw them at the Garage in London maybe 15(!) years ago and remember it being pretty superb. Not bothered about any of the stuff after they split. Yeah, Royal Trux...

Accelerator is one of the best albums ever made. I was so shocked when I first heard it, and it stills surprises me that it's that good. Twin Infinitives is funny, but it is rubbish.

I used to really like that album with the picture of a disgusting toilet bowl on the front, quite proggy in places. Morphic resident was a good tune. Thought 'Thank you', the one with David Briggs producing was quite dull though. They were much better when they were fucking things up with weirdness in the studio. Often wondered about twin infinitives, is it really that far out there?

Hmm, not heard these guys before. They're quite good, for a rock band. reminds me of Jane's Addiction, the bits I'm listening to anyways.

How odd, I was just listening to my old Pussy Galore albums last night, never really listened to R.T. though, will have to track down Accelerator then!

The falling apart 70s-Stonesy thing just never gets old, particularly when mixed with a bit of noise. Really liking Accelerator and Cats and Dogs.

This is just sublime. :D

So Slowtrain, what Pussy Galore is worth getting?

heard the exile on main street album now. it's good, but since theoriginal was such a divine shambles, it doesnt' come across as such a great idea/massive rework as the royal trux money for nothing cover, for example.

I don't agree with that (received?) opinion. Exile... is a well played, well sequenced selection of, somewhat overrated, tunes by probably one of the tightest rock bands in the world at that time.

Damn I gotta cop that reissue of Twin Infinitives now. Great fucking band for sure. Love "Dial M for Motherfucker" and the "Exile on Main Street" cover tape too. I played the later on the radio once and listeners were PISSED! "This sounds like shitty karaoke!" The highlight of my year as a radio DJ for sure, super funny.

RE: The Stones, Exile on Main Street is not their best album for sure and I agree it is overrated. Sticky Fingers is the best. People that hate on them are fucked up IMO.

Has anyone here got the photos of Royal Trux with Keith Richards (they interviewed him for Raygun in the 90s)? If so, can you please show them to me? Thanks a lot.
